How we’re helping the NHS during COVID-19

As COVID-19 puts the NHS under enormous stress, we’re offering an “enhanced service provision”.

At Wolverson X-Ray Limited, we know the coronavirus crisis is raising unprecedented challenges for the NHS. That’s why we’ve made assisting hospitals and healthcare professionals during the coronavirus pandemic our top priority.

Wolverson X-Ray enhanced service provision

We’re proud to be helping our NHS partners in the best way that we can by changing the way we work. Over the past month, our portable X-ray machines and imaging equipment have been used to take chest X-ray images of patients showing symptoms of COVID-19.

However, we recognise that coronavirus is oblivious to time. It doesn’t stop for the weekend or clock off after a shift. It’s relentless.

Any time spent wasted on fixing or servicing our machinery may prevent one or two healthcare professionals from helping in the fight against coronavirus and put more people at risk of contracting the virus.

With this in mind, we’re now providing essential equipment service and breakdown cover for out of hours and weekends.

This is helping our NHS partners:

  • Add increased flexibility to keep all medical imaging equipment serviced and functional.
  • Resolve any issues quickly and maintain a fluent service to patients.
  • Provide added protection in terms of social distancing to health workers, patients and our service team.
