Our x-ray protection apron comes with an internal belt, which eases the weight off your shoulders for a more comfortable fit.

The front overlap x-ray protection apron is available in PVC or PU coated nylon. The coating is on the reverse side of the nylon therefore helping with water repulsion. Similarly for comfort, Nylon would normally be used on the inside of the apron however the outer material is determined by the aprons’ intended use. PVC as a result is easier to clean (when necessary) than nylon.

This special procedure apron has been designed to fully overlap at the front, providing maximum protection whilst still reducing weight.
  • The two front panels overlap giving an LE of 0.50 in the overlap area
  • Each standard size may be adjusted to allow an increase in chest size of 5cms.
  • The lead equivalency (LE) of each panel will be .25LE at the front and 0.25 LE at the back.
  • Shorter back panel so comfortable to sit.
